  1. The twenty-second letter of the dxʷləšucid alphabet, called "barred lambda" and pronounced as a voiceless ejective lateral alveolar affricate. The pronunciation is similar to the sound used to click when calling a horse but with the breath going out of the mouth instead of being drawn in.
