The dialects considered to be part of Northern Lushootseed with their template abbreviations are:
- Lower Skagit-Swinomish - LOW (on Skagit River and on Whidbey Island)
- Sauk-Suiattle - SAU (on Sauk River and Suiattle River)
- Snohomish - SNH (at Tulalip)
- Stillaguamish - STI
- Upper Skagit - UPP
