This is a list of Lushootseed dialects for identifying the dialect of a word. Dialects should be identified using the template specific to that dialect. In general, the template name is the first three letters of the name. However, Northern and Southern Lushootseed are NL and SL, Snohomish is SNH and Snoqualmie is SNQ.
Example: To label a word as being part of the Sauk-Suiattle dialect, use {{Template:SAU}}
- Northern Lushootseed - NL
- Lower Skagit-Swinomish - LOW (on Skagit River and on Whidbey Island)
- Sauk-Suiattle - SAU (on Sauk River and Suiattle River)
- Snohomish - SNH (at Tulalip)
- Stillaguamish - STI
- Upper Skagit - UPP
- Southern Lushootseed - SL
- Duwamish - DUW
- Muckleshoot - MUC (bǝqǝlšuɫucid)
- Nisqually - NIS
- Puyallup - PUY - txʷǝlšucid
- Sahewamish - SAH
- Skykomish - SKY
- Snoqualmie - SNQ
- Squaxin Island - SQU
- Steilacoom - STE
- Suquamish - SUQ
