This is a list of tasks for the Lushootseed Wiktionary:

Entries with formatting to be considered:

• that - two parts of speech. Perhaps the language should be higher in the hierarchy than the POS
• dried salmon roe - the synonyms line
• duqʷəčabš - three items at top
• duwabš - not confirmed
• dxʷdᶻəlaykʷ - entry without a definition
• dxʷləšucid alphabet - encyclopedic article without any nice Dr. Hugo formatting
• dxʷəyəb - page with a geographical box and a photo
• səxʷpupuhigʷəd - entry defined in multiple languages
• sqigʷəc - has an audio clip
• sqáǰətucid - has a spelling warning
• sx̌adᶻəb - has a spelling change warning
• səx̌ʷaɫsx̌alacut ʔəsdukʷalbixʷ ti ʔiɫbadət - long word analysis
• sk̓ʷuy - has a form box for noun forms created from sk̓ʷuy
• child - In English entries, I sometimes use clarifying language as seen in this entry. Should that be in boldface? Also, definition 2 is clarified as "(someone's child), offspring", but the sentences have "daughter" and "son". Should those be in the definition, too? That would make the definition more difficult to read.
• č̓əbas - this has such a complex definition in English that I used bullets

Priority issues before going public:

1. Get a logo for the upper left corner - Work on the logo; the current one is from University of Washington Libraries, Albert Henry Barnes Photographs
2. Create templates for each dialect - Project:Dialects
3. Add an easy-access Lushootseed set of letters - partially complete
4. Make alternate entry possible (e.g., "kw." maps to "kʷ" in the search field)
5. Create a bulletin board for discussing issues, including coinages
6. Create a template for creating new words
7. Create a list of the parts of speech of Lushootseed Project:Parts of speech
8. Create a style sheet See Project:Entry layout
9. Clean up the main page
10. Add a schwa and an accented schwa to the available symbols Reorganize the complete Lushootseed set of characters
11. Add a new namespace for encyclopedic entries
12. Enable uploads and sound files

Other tasks

• Learn how to upload words without entering each one manually
• Create conversion tables
• Add a list of sources. a grammar, a few words, even fewer words
• Create mobile functionality with alternate keyboards
• Redo all entries to match the new format
• Add a special page feature to showcase awesome entries, such as siʔaɬ.
• Add the variables extension and the loops extension to make it easy to process multiple parameters with the same name
